Meet Claudia Charest, Chief Mixologist

Do you know Claudia Charest? Claudia has just been appointed Chief Mixologist, making her the first woman to hold this position at Château Frontenac. Originally from Saguenay, she has worked in the hospitality and restaurant industry for over 18 years, including 6 years at the Château. The least we can say is that she is passionate about mixology! For her, mixology is first and foremost a wonderful opportunity to create and meet people, hear their stories and their adventures. She is in charge of creating the cocktail menus for the 1608 bar and the SAM bistro. What stimulates Claudia in her role are the endless possibilities of flavor combinations to surprise her guests. In her words: “To be creative is to add life to life. It’s about making people happy. Seeing the customer’s expression on their first sip is simply rewarding and exciting! ” Her goal as Chief Mixologist is to showcase the talents of the team to make them feel fulfilled and happy.
